That suggests it is fitting in to significant behavior patterns (mating) and at the same time changing them - rather than going to a cafe or bar to drink and talk.

3. What problems and special challenge occurred due to realize the project in the public space?

Since the festival was widely publicized, making people notice presented no problems. Mainly technical: it's easy to get water there, but getting the water away (drainage) requires a specially prepared site. We were in fact luck to have a gradual but not perfect slope to assist in the drainage. Another feature to be worked out was how the umbrellas were to be offered & provided. It required that an attendant be there to supervise this. In an ideal situation it would be in the rainy season so everybody would already have their own umbrella.

4. What meaning has the interactivity for the project? What shall the Interaction produce, cause?

I think I answered some (sociological aspects) of theis already. As an esthetic experience it involves as much the kinematics of play and dancing around as it does a listening or musical experience. That is I tried to balance the unusualness of the means of listening - requiring that the user participate in order to hear - with the banality of the tunes - Blue Danube Waltz, Singin in the Rain etc.
